Why Taco Mojo?

Convenient – it couldn’t be easier.

We will deliver, set-up, and pick-up everything. OK, so we will need some tables. But, really, you won’t have to lift a finger.

Healthy – if that’s what you’re into.

Our taco bars feature naturally lean beef, pork, and chicken, fresh vegetables, fruit, and salad greens. You can create the perfect Mexican meal that’s as healthy (or not) as you want it to be.

Affordable – what’s not to like?

The Taco Mojo bar includes everything you need to make tacos just the way you want them. Plus, we include a salad, a generous portion of pinto or black beans and rice, Mexican sugar cookies, and our fresh- made chips and salsa – a great deal at 11.75 per guest.

How much will it cost?

Taco Mojo bars can vary from 10.75- 19.75 per guest, including delivery/set-up/pick-up and equipment charge. Let’s not forget the money you will save not having to clean up pork carnitas from the back seat of your car. Trust us. You want us to deliver. Can Taco Mojo provide staff for my event?

Taco Mojo can provide bartenders and servers for your event. Weddings, rehearsal dinners, and other special events often call for service beyond the normal buffet set-up & pick-up that we provide. You can calculate service needs with the following information:

Bartenders

$150 includes one bartender for a four hour event, including set-up and clean-up.

Servers

$150 includes one server for a four hour event, including set-up and clean-up.


When providing servers and bartenders, Taco Mojo requests a credit card on file for any additional staffing charges not included in original estimate. Should the times of your event run longer or be delayed, Taco Mojo will include your additional staff charges on your credit card following the event.

Our servers and bartenders come dressed in black Taco Mojo shirts and represent the casual style of our buffets.

Can Taco Mojo provide bartending services?

Yes, we can provide bartending services when you purchase one of the following bar packages:

Bar package #1
$2.50 per guest, includes cups, ice for drinks, bar equipment, cocktail napkins, cut limes.
Bar package #2
$3.00 per guest, includes assorted sodas, cups, ice for drinks, bar equipment, cocktail napkins, cut limes.
Bar package #3
$3.50 per guest, includes tonic and club soda, margarita mix, assorted sodas, cups, ice for drinks, bar equipment, cocktail napkins, limes-lemons.
Bar package #4
$4.00 per guest, includes orange juice, tonic and club soda, margarita mix, assorted sodas, cups, ice for drinks, bar equipment, cocktail napkins, limes-lemons.

 

Ice is included in all four bar packages, and is included for serving beverages at the bar. Additional ice will be needed for chilling your beverages if they are not already chilled, or if ice is needed for guests at their tables.

What does the equipment /admin. charge include?

All of our serviceware is non-disposable, including serving trays, bowls, utensils, and stainless chafing dishes. These items, along with our delicious food, make a great-looking buffet. The equipment/administration charge includes preparation prior to your event, wear-and-tear, and clean-up of our equipment back at our facility. The equipment charge is calculated at 15% of your food-beverage costs for delivery service, and 20% of food-beverage-staff costs for all full-service events.

What does Taco Mojo require for payment?

We will request a deposit of 1/3 of your estimated total in order for us to hold your date. A final guest count will be due 72 hours prior to your event, for delivery & setup events. Full-service events require a final guest count 8 days prior to the event. Should your guest count climb, we will make every effort to add to your order. Unfortunately, we will unable to decrease your guest count once the final count has been given.

Taco Mojo accepts cash, checks, and credit cards. Final payment will be due 48 hours prior to your event unless prior arrangements have been made.

When will Taco Mojo arrive to set-up my taco bar?

We will arrive 45 minutes prior to your begin time in order to have everything ready. We will provide everything you and your guests will need, including plates, napkins, cutlery, microfiber table coverings for the buffet, serving utensils, and warming stands for keeping the hot food hot. We will arrive later in the day to pick up our equipment, or for evening events, we will return the next morning. We will even provide tubs to place our equipment in when you are done.

As the customer, what do I need to provide?

Taco Mojo buffets require anywhere from 8 to 16 feet of table space, depending upon your group count. Sometimes, it is possible to place plates, napkins, and cutlery on a separate table. And dessert can be set up on a separate table, if necessary. Please let us know your table sizes and we will do our best to work with what you have.

How many people should I order for?

Our Taco Mojo Bars are for 30 guests or more. The longer your buffet runs, the more your guests will eat. It’s always a good idea to add a few to your guest count – just to be safe.

Do you have hearty eaters in your group?  Is it a group of mostly men?  Have they been clearing lumber in the mountains?  As you consider your final guest count, you might want to add a few – just to be sure.

Does Taco Mojo provide tastings?

Yes, once you have a  completed proposal, we can provide a private tasting for events of 100 guests or more. Because our food is made from scratch and requires considerable preparation time, tastings are priced at 50.00.

Tastings are scheduled on days that we do not have events, and are on an “as available” basis. Taco Mojo will make every effort to schedule your tasting as soon as possible, but cannot guarantee availability. Because Saturdays are our busiest days, we are unable to schedule tastings on most Saturdays.

How long has Taco Mojo been around?

Although Taco Mojo is five-years-old, our big brother, Cañon Catering, is in it’s twentieth year. We have plenty of experience when it comes to hand-crafted Mexican-inspired cuisine. We pride ourselves on being on time, and can provide experienced, friendly staff if you are wanting a full-service event.
